Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil

My husband and I have been trying to eat healthy and I am always eager to try new ingredients. I received a product sample of Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil  from BzzAgent and immediately started adding it to my diet!

Here are some facts about Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

  • Is high in monounsaturated fats (also known as "good fat")
  • Contains no trans fat or cholesterol
  • Contains no sugar, salt, or gluten
  • Can help reduce the risk of heart disease, as well as help control blood pressure and blood sugar levels

My experience with Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil is high in monounsaturated fats (also known as "good fat"), contains no trans fat or cholesterol, contains no sugar, salt, or gluten and can help reduce the risk of heart disease, as well as help control blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Because of all that, I was really excited to add it to my diet!

The taste of Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil is subtle, but it really enhances the flavor of your food. It is a lot lighter than butter and I feel better after eating a meal with it. What I found especially helpful was the substitution chart provided by Filippo Berio for converting recipes with butter or margarine to olive oil. Because of that chart, I have slowly replaced butter in my diet.

Filippo Berio provides many recipes on their websites. It is very helpful when a company provides resources like this. Because I received Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil, I have been using it mostly for marinades and salad dressings.

I love that Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil is in a glass bottle. Not only do I get to use their great olive oil, but I get a reusable bottle!

I had not considered buying Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil before this campaign, because I was not familiar with the brand. I will definitely be adding it to my shopping list now.
